Willing to commit treason
I've not really used this blog for anything as i get to grips with what it can do. However, i have decided to join with blairwatch and (oddly enough) Boris Johnson a conservative MP and the editor of the spectator. I have pledged to publish the downing street memo in which it is alleged that a threat was made to bomb Al-Jazeera.
A fleet street editor has been threatened with the Official secrets act if he publishes the memo.
The rights and wrongs of the war are one thing but:
If my government goes to war i have the right to agree or disagree with them, thats democracy.
When there is a serious allegation that the same government is involved with threats against legitimate media outlets followed by the use of the laws designed to protect the national security for political gain the facts need to come out.

The rights and wrongs of the war are one thing but:
- Threatening to bomb a media station should be a big no no.
- Using the official secrets act to prevent politically sensitive information is beyond the remit of any democraticly elected government.
